Conversations with Noah

I have to write this down before i forget. Noah is coming down with some type of a viral infection today and he was feeling sick for most of the day. We had to cancel his swimming class and he was very sad he didn't get to go. When i was putting him to bed, Noah started questioning me about different things. First we talked about possibly hiking tomorrow but i told him that in order to go for a long hike he must feel much better and break the fever. I told him that his organism is fighting a virus and boy that got his attention because for the next 40 minutes I was being interrogated about viruses, bacterias, cancers :) I couldn't believe how interested he was in knowing absolutely all that his little head could wrap around about various infectious diseases. I told him that viruses are like little foreign invaders that once they get inside us are fighting with other cells for survival. Someone wins and someone looses. I told him that in order for our organism to win, it has to be strong and healthy to knock the viruses down. Noah was fascinated and said "mommy do viruses fight with these tiny swords"? Hilarious! I then told him that in order to be healthy he must feed his body with a really healthy and wholesome diet and he must keep drinking our daily green juices. He said "mommy so viruses don't like juices"? I said that they didn't like them and he replied: " Then I will be drinking the juices ALL day long so that they can kill all viruses and i tell tati to drink juices too and buy me only fruity snacks now" :) He is just soo cute and loving. Then he said" Mommy a czemu tati nie lubi jesc zdrowych rzeczy? I told him that he probably doesn't know any better and that many times it's up to his or her upbringing whether they prefer simple, healthy and nutritional home cooked meal over processed dinner in McDonald's or Chickfilet. Noah said "I'm going to tell tati to buy me nuts and fruits now and he will like them too"." Ja lubiem fruits and veggies...mommy a czemu tati je tylko swinia and swinia caly czas?". This was too funny...especially coming from a 3 and 10 months old mouth. Noah is just so smart and I am really enjoying our one on one conversations. If he is conversation with me, absolutely noone can come into a room and interrupt. Babcia came in couple times and he just told her to go away and not to interrupt. The same thing happened to me when my mom was discussing something with Noah and suddenly i ask my mom some question, Noah got really mad. Now he really enjoys taking part in our various conversations and listens really well to everything that is going on around him. It's incredible that a kid his age can have such interest in so many different things and that he can just listen to them over and over again. He never wants to stop. I guess he would keep going until he is almost asleep. I'm sure of this so when he asked me again about the viruses and bacterias, i told him i need to go downstairs to load on some juice-plus vitamins so that my organism can fight a possible virus invasion transferred by Noah's sneezing. This led to more questions for the next 15 minutes such as "ale jak? how can a virus that's inside of me end up on you mommy? We talked about the shapes of viruses, how small they are and that we can only see them through microscope. Now he wants a microscope so that he can watch things he cannot with his own eyes. This boy is something else. Finally i got up and when i came back he was already asleep. I covered him up and snuggled with him until i myself drifted to sleep. What a great time with my little boy. I wish his sweetness never vanished. I want to bottle it all up and keep it with me for the rest of my life.
