Lake Lanier

This has been a very long and hot summer for us. We have been dealing with lots of obstacles on our way but i can already see a rainbow at the end. Life has brought many surprises into our lives this year that are not exactly the most positive but we are trying to stay joyful and find happiness in the small things around us (and there are plenty of such things :) The summer has been extremely hot and humid and as much as we can, we stay cool in a lake or at the pool. Whenever we have little free time, we opt for lake. It's always fun at the lake! One time we even decided to stay on our boat overnight (me, Noah, babcia and Leah) and we had a great time (although babcia didn't sleep more than couple hours because she was afraid that Leah would roll over from the bed). That's just babcia :) All in all, we stayed at the beach all day, ate pizza while watching the sunset and played in the water-park. Being at the lake feels almost like vacation so spontaneously we decided to pack our bags and head to the Lake Lanier just couple days ago. Kids had so much fun playing with the sand and running around the water-park. We ate lunch at Sunset Cove restaurant at the beach and then we headed to the beach. We stayed late until the sun came down and then i couldn't help but take some pictures because the light was just too wonderful. It was magical. I don't know if it was just me or not, but i saw magic and sparkles everywhere. I couldn't stop taking pictures and quietly wishing that someone took photo of me :) The sun, the rays, the flare...just pure awesomeness that made my heart sing and swell. I need our little breaks to relax and find a new, fresh perspective on life. Anyways, here are the photos from our evening (more to come in a different post).
