Catching up.

It's been a long time since i blogged but I am determined to slowly catch up with all the posts and everything that has been going on with us for the last month. So here is the update. The kids are doing wonderfully well with me at home. I thought i will have the hardest time taking care of both of them in the house but it's not as bad at all. Don't get me wrong, it gets tough at times but it's all worth it because by the end i have not missed ANY single moment away from them in their early life. That's wonderful and i keep reminding it to myself when things do get tough :) As some of you may know i have been preparing for Atlanta half marathon set for November 24 and i have been doing great with all my training (enjoying late night runs with Noah in our neighborhood up to 7 miles) only that two months into my training I have injured myself and had a stress fracture. Dr Elleby, who is my podiatrist diagnosed this by MRI.A stress fracture is a type of incomplete fracture in a bone. It is caused by repeated stress and also continuous weight on the ankle or leg. It also means no Half Marathon for me and absolutely no running at all for at least 2 months. And did i tell you i also have to wear special brace on my left foot? Sucks. I had so much fun running, liking it more and more and even planning far ahead for Boston Marathon. Big dreams :) I know. Nevertheless, I can't run so i had to come up with a different activity all together. Since my mom was coming to visit us for a month, I decided to sign up for an Oil painting class at Emory University. It was a 6 weeks class but i had learned so much about painting. I even have 6 peaces of my own artwork now (i wouldn't really call it an artwork but its my own work). The class was so much fun. I actually took it so i could learn basics of oil painting so one day i could paint my own backdrops for my photography business. I have so many ideas but so little time in a day :) Enough about me.

The kids are wonderful. Noah is just the best, little brother EVER. He definitely changed towards Leah and is now making good friends with her :) He is much more careful around her now and even watches out for her not to fall or get hurt. Of course he can be very jealous of her and he desperately wants to have everything she has (baby food included) but overall things are great between them and this gives me hope :) Leah is just sweet, gentle and very happy. She only has eyes for her brother. No matter how much i try to make her laugh as hard as Noah does, I loose. She may laugh for me some, but every time Noah enters the room, she immediately smiles and just stares at him (given that he is not picking on her right there :) It's just the best thing to just watch them play next to each other and interact together. THE BEST THING!
