It's now our family tradition that every year in October we go to visit and apple house, petting zoo and a pumpkin patch all located in Ellijay Mountains. I just love the B.J. Reece Apple orchard because the field is really big and it kind of feels like a fairytale to be there...the view of an orchard is just spectacular with apples everywhere. You can pick up as many apples as you can physically hold. The apple house has it's own bakery/store where you can buy homemade apple pies, apple cider, apple fritters and fresh apples! Yummy :) After the apple orchard we always visit the petting zoo. Noah loves this part! The animals are not in cages and are gentle enough to be held and fed by hand. The petting zoo is full of farm animals that need to be hugged and fed (and they are all soo cute). After the petting zoo its time for a Burt’s farm and pumpkin Patch!!! This place is simply amazing where the only thing that's more beautiful than the fall foliage are thousands of orange pumpkins. Noah had such a blast running around and between the pumpkins and it was almost impossible to keep him close by :) Burt's farm has a huge selection of every type of pumpkin, winter squash and fall decoration. We ended our patch with a hayride that was pulled by John Deere tractor that took us through a winding trail filled with nature and beauty. We all had such a blast and Noah keeps talking about tractors and pumpkins all the time now :) Here are some pictures i took on our trip:
