Mother's Morning Out program has started so i signed up both Noah and Leah for the program, which is Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 1pm. Noah is totally ready for it (we have practiced being socialized in WMCA all summer and he had a blast). Leah is soo happy go lucky that she has no problem of being away from her mommy. She has also attended WMCA this summer so maybe she was a little bit more prepared for the separation. I'm not sure but when i dropped her off, I had second thoughts and almost backed out but after seeing that she is in class with just another 7 months old child and no one else, i decided to give it a chance this month. I will take her out if i see that more kids are getting signed up but for now Leah has a superb care and she is having a great time. As for Noah, his first day at MMO was great despite off all other kids crying (Noah didn't cry at all). However his second day was hard. Noah ended up being in an older group with Thalia instead of his old younger group with Sara. He desperately wanted to be in Sara's group and didn't want to stay. He cried and kicked and throw himself on the floor (while I was standing just outside the door waiting for him to calm down). Not even the lollipop made him feel better:) The entire hysteria lasted for five minutes and he finally stopped crying. I could relax and go home. The second day was similar, only with less drama. His third day was just like the old days. Noah just went in smiling and came out smiling even more, asking if i have gotten something for him since he was so good at school (even going potty like his friends). Of course i got his something little and for now the drama is over. I'm sure he will be fine next week. He loves other kids and it's a nice break for him to be away from home.
Noah's and Leah's new backpacks with their names monogrammed. Love it!
