My little butterfly is 7 months old and she is as cute as she can be! Leah can sit up like a pro now and she is starting to crawl. Noah really skipped crawling and went straight for pulling up :) Crawling is so much fun. Baby Leah is trying to crawl with all her strength now. I guess she can no longer just watch her brother hop and jump around her, she wants to be part of the fun. Her sleep is still awesome! Leah sleeps from 8pm to about 8:30am. Sometimes she wakes up earlier than 8:30am but she either falls asleep again or just lays in her crib and watches her toys. Noah used to do the same but Leah is way better sleeper than Noah ever was. Since she was 4 months old she slept through the night without any interruptions. I love it! That way i can have more time for myself and can do my morning practices including Yoga and meditation before i get Leah up and snuggle with her in her bed. Life is awesome :)
My beautiful princess :)
Just love her little fingers.

Saying mama :)
I have finally heard the magic word: mama :) Leah has been saying it since she was about 6 months of age but it's much more recognizable now :) She says mama every time she is in some kind of distress:) I guess Noah was the same. She will just keep saying ma ma ma ma and when she is really angry she will say the whole mama :) How cute and precious. I can't believe that she is 7 months old already. I want her to stay this tiny FOREVER! She has these yummy baby rolls all over hear body and just thinking that one day she won't have them anymore, just makes me really sad. But then again i should just be content with the present moment and not think about the future. This reminds me of the special quote i love from "The Kung Fu Panda" movie : "Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery but Today is a gift that's why it is called the Present". I just live for it that's why i will enjoy my baby girl NOW every second of the day without thinking of the future because today is all we have now and nothing else matters.
I snapped this picture when i put Leah down for her nap. She looked so cute that i just couldn't help myself. This is the sweetest thing I've seen recently.

Truffle Shuffle
That's the name of our beloved boat that we have been spending our summer on almost every weekend. We planned a family vacation a while back but we had so many unexpected expenses for the last 2 weeks that i seriously doubt that we will go anywhere. First of all our water pipe broke and that alone was like 2k to fix it. Then the same week, our air conditioner broke downstairs so we had to have it fixed. Couple of days later our upstairs conditioner broke so the company had to come back and fix that. As if this wasn't enough Lilly our purest lab of all got sick with Pancreatitis, which is a very serious condition for the dogs and can be fatal. It is basically inflammation of pancreas and she had to spent almost entire week in a hospital trying to recover (that costed us another 2K). She had to receive fluids for 4 days and take different types of drugs just to get this thing under control. Luckily Lilly is strong and she recovered. She now has to be on special, designer diet dog food and cannot consume any types of fat (goodbye peanut butter and cashew nuts... her favorite). As soon as we covered Lilly's expenses, our air conditioner broke again and we now have to replace it (we have already paid $700 for fixing it and we now have to pay another 1,300K to exchange the evaporator coil). God help us! When it rains, it pours. I can't believe it all happened just one week. Anyways, to get away from all these problems we decided to spent a weekend on our boat. We stayed overnight and ended up having a blast. Here are just a few pictures from our weekend escape (Noah was taking a nap while Paul took some pictures of me and Leah):

Pictures with Tripod...
So I finally will be able to take pictures of myself with kids. I just purchased this new remote for my camera and it works! It's just hard to get the right subject in focus but at least I can have pictures of me and the kids together. I hadn't had a time to practice with my new toy too much but I'm sure I will find plenty of uses for it. So here are couple of the tester shots i took of myself:

Back to school
Mother's Morning Out program has started so i signed up both Noah and Leah for the program, which is Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 1pm. Noah is totally ready for it (we have practiced being socialized in WMCA all summer and he had a blast). Leah is soo happy go lucky that she has no problem of being away from her mommy. She has also attended WMCA this summer so maybe she was a little bit more prepared for the separation. I'm not sure but when i dropped her off, I had second thoughts and almost backed out but after seeing that she is in class with just another 7 months old child and no one else, i decided to give it a chance this month. I will take her out if i see that more kids are getting signed up but for now Leah has a superb care and she is having a great time. As for Noah, his first day at MMO was great despite off all other kids crying (Noah didn't cry at all). However his second day was hard. Noah ended up being in an older group with Thalia instead of his old younger group with Sara. He desperately wanted to be in Sara's group and didn't want to stay. He cried and kicked and throw himself on the floor (while I was standing just outside the door waiting for him to calm down). Not even the lollipop made him feel better:) The entire hysteria lasted for five minutes and he finally stopped crying. I could relax and go home. The second day was similar, only with less drama. His third day was just like the old days. Noah just went in smiling and came out smiling even more, asking if i have gotten something for him since he was so good at school (even going potty like his friends). Of course i got his something little and for now the drama is over. I'm sure he will be fine next week. He loves other kids and it's a nice break for him to be away from home.

Kids boutique.
So I found this amazing kids boutique in Buckhead couple weeks ago and they sell the coolest children's clothes and toys that you can't see in a regular store. I went there with kids to pick up their new backpacks that i have ordered a few days prior and we stayed there forever, just playing around with toys and searching the store. Of course we had to leave with some new toys. We bought several items: new swords for Noah, horses with knights, a little telescope, crawler toy for Leah, new Frisbee (for the cooler fall days :) and two little dolls. Oh i really love this place! After we came home, Noah just played and played with his new toys and so did Leah. We have spent the entire afternoon in Noah's playroom, just playing up a storm :)

Mommy's little princess.
Leah is doing great! She is 6 months and 3 weeks old as of today and she may just be the sweetest and most loveliest baby out there. She is even tampered and quiet but very peculiar and responsive to her environment. She is interested in everything, especially in her big brother. He always brings a big smile on her face :) Leah has already two bottom teeth and she is quite an eater. She will eat anything and everything. She eats her usual three or four pouches of SPROUT baby food and on a top of that she always tries whatever mommy is eating, including salmon and vegetable juices. She is soo much fun. I just love to hold her tiny body and smell her skin. Nothing puts me in a better mood than holding my baby girl tight while smelling her head. Oh! Leah is also very delicate and fragile and her little fingers are soft like a velvet. My absolutely favorite moment of the day is when i come in to her room each morning, take her pijama of and just cuddle with her while she is nursing. Time can stop right then for me and never start again. This is an absolute heaven for me. I love you my little princess and cannot wait to see you grow and get bigger so we can one day play a house together and have an exquisite tea parties! Life is good now. Life is incredible.
