Where did the month of September go? I can't believe it's almost October. We welcomed the first day of autumn with 91 degree heat last week so it definitely doesn't feel like Fall just yet. Anyways we have been doing great keeping busy as much as we can. We go to the museum, Kangazoom, bookstore and music class during the week and the weekends are spent on the boat. Besides that Noah goes to Mother's Morning Out every Tuesday and Thursday so this gives me a little time for myself, although I am not sure if i keep him there all winter. Last spring he kept getting sick from other kids so if this happens to him this time, we are out of there. We both got vaccinated last week against the flu so I'm hoping that this winter will go by without any bad surprises.
As far as Noah's potty training goes, he does amazingly well for a 23 months old boy. When we are at home, Noah goes to the bathroom every time on his potty. It's just when we are away from the house, that we experience little obstacles on our way :) But today for example, when i was getting my allergy vaccinations, he told me he wanted to pee pee so we went and used the regular toilet successfully!!! I think he is totally getting it and i can't be more proud of him! He has always been fast in every step of the way including crawling, walking and talking so we are not surprised that he is very much ready to be potty trained. Go Noah!!!
On a different topic, I am now 21 weeks pregnant, surprisingly with a baby girl :) I know it sounds unreal but the 19th week ultrasound with Perinatal Consultants confirmed it so it's pretty much a done deal now :) We am very excited and cannot wait to meet baby Leah.
Anyways, here are some pictures of Noah from the last couple weeks:
Noah playing with a play dough. This boy loves all kinds of activities.
In his new Pjs "Thomas The Train". Noah is totally into Thomas these days :) Ever since we came back from Poland, he started to play more with his toys and he rediscovered Thomas the Train :) It's hilarious to watch him play!
In a tub...pretending he is scared :) He loves to use the Polish word "boi sie" and he keeps saying it every time there is an opportunity for it...like when he sees a witch (yes our house is already decorated for Halloween and it has been for the last few weeks:). Noah is very concerned with witches these days. He is scared of them but also very intrigued by them :)
Making "boi sie" face :))))
Couple shots from the music class. Pictures taken by a friend:
