Update on things...

Where did the month of September go? I can't believe it's almost October. We welcomed the first day of autumn with 91 degree heat last week so it definitely doesn't feel like Fall just yet. Anyways we have been doing great keeping busy as much as we can. We go to the museum, Kangazoom, bookstore and music class during the week and the weekends are spent on the boat. Besides that Noah goes to Mother's Morning Out every Tuesday and Thursday so this gives me a little time for myself, although I am not sure if i keep him there all winter. Last spring he kept getting sick from other kids so if this happens to him this time, we are out of there. We both got vaccinated last week against the flu so I'm hoping that this winter will go by without any bad surprises.

As far as Noah's potty training goes, he does amazingly well for a 23 months old boy. When we are at home, Noah goes to the bathroom every time on his potty. It's just when we are away from the house, that we experience little obstacles on our way :) But today for example, when i was getting my allergy vaccinations, he told me he wanted to pee pee so we went and used the regular toilet successfully!!! I think he is totally getting it and i can't be more proud of him! He has always been fast in every step of the way including crawling, walking and talking so we are not surprised that he is very much ready to be potty trained. Go Noah!!!

On a different topic, I am now 21 weeks pregnant, surprisingly with a baby girl :) I know it sounds unreal but the 19th week ultrasound with Perinatal Consultants confirmed it so it's pretty much a done deal now :) We am very excited and cannot wait to meet baby Leah.

Anyways, here are some pictures of Noah from the last couple weeks:

In his new Pjs "Thomas The Train". Noah is totally into Thomas these days :) Ever since we came back from Poland, he started to play more with his toys and he rediscovered Thomas the Train :) It's hilarious to watch him play!

In a tub...pretending he is scared :) He loves to use the Polish word "boi sie" and he keeps saying it every time there is an opportunity for it...like when he sees a witch (yes our house is already decorated for Halloween and it has been for the last few weeks:). Noah is very concerned with witches these days. He is scared of them but also very intrigued by them :)

Boat!

We haven't used our boat but once since me and Noah came back from Poland but nevertheless last time we did, I took some snapshots of Noah with my I-phone so I'm adding these up to our picture gallery. I'm sure my boy will appreciate these one day :)) LOL

Potty Training!

A few months ago I started to potty train Noah but that didn't work out quite as i thought it might. Mostly because of me not Noah. I was in my first stages of pregnancy and didn't feel like cleaning after yet another pee pee or poo that Noah left behind on the floor. This time is different. I feel much better now and ready to deal with all the mess involved in potty training a naked, dirty and sticky toddler :)) For the last couple days now Noah has been running around completely naked on and off throughout the day but only yesterday the change finally came!!!We sat on the potty probably 5 times yesterday and talked about it some. Half way through the evening Noah suddenly grabbed his little penis and i knew he was getting ready to pee. I picked him up and sat him on the potty and he went to the bathroom!!!! Since that time Noah is really doing great! He is such a big boy! So yesterday he went at least 5 time on the potty and he is doing the same today. He is wearing his big boy underwear all day today (except for the music class and the nap time) and had two accidents today only because we were running errands and he didn't have an access to his poty. We are SO proud of him! I hope the rest of the week goes well even though he has a mother's morning out tomorrow and he does need to be in a pull up diaper. More updates to come!

The Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament

Last weekend was the first weekend me and Noah were back in the US so we wanted to make the weekend extra special. We basically spent it on the boat swimming, eating and relaxing. Then on Sunday evening we went out for a dinner/show, which is supposedly America's number 1 attraction: Medieval Times dinner and tournament. The stage was set as an 11 century big arena and we ate our dinner while watching the tournaments. I was kind of afraid that Noah may not last for the entire play but he did just wonderful. We had the royal seats on the house and Noah was mesmerized by all the horses, knights and battles that were right in front of his eyes. What an awesome time! We definitely need to revisit this place when Noah is a little older.

Prague

Ok- the last post from Poland :) Our flight from Poland to the USA was originally from Krakow to Prague and from Prague to Atlanta. However, our connection was so inconvenient (we would have to get up at 1am and drive to Krakow and then have a 5 hour layover in Prague) that we decided to just drive to Prague and spend the last two days sightseeing and being together without hurrying up and additional stress. The drive to Prague wasn't that bad and well worth our time. Prague is just gorgeous! It little reminded us of our own Krakow but it's even bigger. We stayed in Marriott hotel close to the city. We all had a great time walking through the old town and just being together. Me and Noah didn't get to see the castle nor the monastery because it was located all the way on the hill and Noah would have never made it :) but my parents and Natalie stayed in Prague one more day and they got to see it all :) Anyways, i haven't taken many photos while in Prague (my camera was acting up at night) but here are some that i did take:

Famous Krizik Singing Fountain! One night we went out to see this incredible spectacle that everybody was talking about and we weren't disappointed. Noah was just hypnotized and he didn't even move the whole time. The performance offered a unique spectacle of music, water and colors. I have never seen a fountain dance to the rhythm of the Scorpions and Metallica. Just breath taking and unforgettable!

Session in Poland

We have already been back in the States since Monday but i have just finished editing some pictures of Noah taken couple days before our departure from Poland to Prague. On one sunny and breezy morning me and Natalie took Noah near our house for a quick photo shoot. Noah was very cooperative and just loved all the attention he was getting from both of us. He ran from one place to another allowing me to take many different shots of him in different poses and locations. I am more than satisfied with the end result. Just love all the pictures taken that day :) Thanks ciocia Natalia for your help.
