Happy 9 months!

I can't believe my little baby Noah is already 9 months old! At nine months, Noah is crawling, pulling up, walking by holding to one hand, saying mama and tata :))It was like yesterday when he was born :) The time goes by really fast. It was such a wonderful 9 months and the happiest time in my life. I am so looking forward to many more happy times together! We are going to have a blast! Mommy and daddy love you so much :)) Noah today after his morning cat nap on the floor in our bedroom Already climbing the stairs...I am a very persistent little booger!

Saturday cook out

Today we finally had a chance to get together with our close neighborhood friends: Bo and Kay, who we haven't seen for a while. Courtney and Ryan and their daughter Sara, who is only one week younger than Noah also happened to stop by so it was great to see them too. We all had a wonderful time cooking out, chatting and playing with the kids. Noah was surrounded by three girls but he had no problem parading naked in front of them (nor did Taylor :))

Yummy watermelon!!

It was another hot summer day here in the South so me and Noah cut out some watermelon and snacked on it all afternoon. I was amazed by the fact that this little booger just loves watermelon (almost as much as his mommy:). Anyway, in between my watermelon feasts, I managed to take some shots of Noah. Enjoy!!!

The Bubble Blower

Today I bought Noah another bubble blower because the one he had before (Winnie The Pooh) rusted outside in the rain so I had to buy a replacement. Gosh, I love bubble blowers. They are so magical and colorful! I've never had one when i was growing up so I was almost as amazed by it as Noah :)) I'm glad we can discover the beauty of things (even of the very small ones) together!

Family get together

We had a big day yesterday! Paul's sister Penny and her husband Greg were in town with their boys so we drove to Pell City to hang out with them (we haven't seen them since last Christmas). It was great to see everybody and spent some time together. Noah enjoyed seeing the grandparents and playing with his older cousins Chandler and Evan. I can't believe how much they both have changed in the last six months, especially Chandler. I remember him being a little baby and now he is all grown up and way too serious :)) I can't even picture Noah at that age. I guess I have to cherish each moment with him because kids grow up so fast...too fast. Enjoy the pictures from yesterday.

Healthy food patterns

Fruits and veggies are big part of my life. I LOVE fruits and veggies! I grew up eating lots of them and I can't imagine a day without them (especially without fruits). I guess i have to thank my parents for instilling in me appreciation for healthy foods :)) I basically love to eat everything that's considered "healthy" and i have a very simple pallet. I can eat salmon every single day of my life and never get bored with it. I am not big on any type of meat other than the fish and honestly I am very happy for my choices. I desire the same for Noah and that's why I started to introduce him to healthy foods early on. So far so good. He seems to like my daily dose of fruits and veggies I put on his menu. I hope he will grow to appreciate their taste, texture and bright colors :) I always believed that the human body is the most fantastic invention in the universe and in order for us maintain its proper efficiency and functionality we need to care for it and nourish it the way God has planned for us to. I believe that our body is the temple of our soul, its physical reflection made in the image of our Creator. We need to fuel it with good nutrition. Anyway, here are some pictures of Noah eating cherries and strawberries.

Buddies

Josh and Lilly are real buddies with Noah. Ok so Lilly is a little bit jealous of him (since he took her spot) but Josh follows Noah wherever he goes. He is the sweetest dog ever. He is extremely gentle and lets Noah do whatever he feels like at the moment. Most of the time it means pulling Josh's ears or hair (thanks God Josh got a haircut this past weekend) but Josh truly doesn't mind Noah. Lilly is little bit more rambunctious around him so we just have to make sure there are no tennis balls around :)) Other than that Lilly is an awesome dog as well and Noah just adores her. He loves her craziness and inability to sit still. I am very happy that Noah is able to grow up with animals and learn to take care of them. Besides, there is nothing better than unconditional love of an animal. We all can learn great deal from dogs like the importance of living in the moment and extracting all the joy possible from each experience. I can only hope that Noah will one day feel as passionate about animals as i do. Anyway, since yesterday Lilly had a little photo session with Noah, today Josh got most of his attention. Check out the pictures i took of them in our backyard.

Summer days

It was another hot day here in Atlanta so me and Noah just hang around the house, played with doggies, danced around and took some pictures (of course!). Some are better then others but like I said I am still experimenting and learning in a process. I thoroughly enjoy my new discovered hobby!
