Leah is 6 months old! I don't know whether to be happy or sad :) I'd rather be happy.
Dr.B said that our girl is super strong and that she rather looks like 9 month old :)She is right on track developmentally and is doing great on all charts. Here are her stats:
Weight: 18.6 oz - that puts her in 90% for the weight
Height: 27 inches long- (95%)
Head Cir: 42 1/2 cm.
Here is Noah's weight from his 6 month check up: 18 pounds and 3 ounces. Still falling behind Leah just a bit :)Noah was also 27 inches long at 6 months so they are the same size now :) How interesting. They both had these yummy rolls as well.

Pirate Ship and Potty training
As you know Noah started his potty training last year and he was very successful for a while, however ever since Leah came into this world he regressed and didn't want to have anything to do with a potty training again. This was until last week when i made him a new chart and for every use of the potty he was going to get a star. When he collected 16 stars he was getting a long awaited Pirate Ship. It took him maybe 3 days to accomplish his task and he was potty trained instantly with no accidents. Soo Proud!!! This is what gets this boy motivated-Toys!!! If i realized it before, he would have been potty trained a long time ago. Forget about stickers or candies, this boy wants toys! Nothing makes Noah more happy than a new toy :) This boy can play with toys all day! (yeah mommy is involved in a play very frequently but that's ok :)
Last weekend we went over to our friend's house Ania and David's and celebrated Lukasz' first birthday. Here are just a few pictures i took during Lukasz' birthday. Noah had a blast! He discovered that Zosia has Little People so he was off to play by himself as soon as we got there. He only called me for a potty break and every time when we walked to a bathroom he said "mommy can we take little people with us?" and when i said "no" he continued: "but Lukasz is not going to take my little people right?" Soo cute!
Lukasz enjoying his cake.
Princess Leah, ready to take a nap :)
Noah sleeping with his Pirate Ship :) How cute is that? He now goes to sleep with whatever toy he happens to favor for a day.

Warm summer rain...
I like when it rains. Everything looks and smells so fresh and new. It rained here couple days ago so me and Noah ventured outside and just played in the rain. I love to see my boy smile and this definitely gave him a big smile! If such simple things can make kids happy, they should make us happy as well right? I am learning new ways of seeing this world through the eyes of my son. He is my captain.
The song of Celine Dion comes to my mind:
"Let the rain come down and wash away my tears
Let it feel my soul and drown my fears
Let it shatter the walls for a new new sun...
A new day has come
A new day has...come
Where it was dark now there's light
Where there was pain now there's joy
Where there was weakness, I found my strength
All in the eyes of a boy.."
Love this.
Freedom is within us! It has always been there, we just need to learn to notice it again.
"If you realize how fragile your life is and how at any moment it could be turned upside down, you will walk very gently on this planet - Sadhguru".

Playdaugh and feeling emotional...
"If you are alone, I'll be your shadow. If you want to cry, I'll be your shoulder. If you want a hug, I'll be your pillow. If you need to be happy, I'll be your smile. But anytime you need a friend, I'll just be me...".
I read this quote somewhere and i just love it! It translates 100% into my feelings i have towards my children. I never knew i can love someone as much as i love them. There is absolutely no other love that can have such a powerful effect on a person but a love of a mother towards her children. They are all i think about and they are all i care about now and forever...there is no other way. I feel so emotional even as i write this. I hope I can one day measure up to be all the support and encouragement they need in their lives. No matter what happens, i will always be there for them. And here this last sentence just begs for another quote i love:
"Nothing you become will disappoint me; I have no preconception that I'd like to see you be or do. I have no desire to foresee you, only to discover you. You cannot disappoint me." ~ Mary Haskell
Leah is 5 months and 3 weeks old.
On this picture, Leah reminds me of me when i was little. I wish i had some pictures to display in order to support my statement but i don't :)In short, I don't have any pictures i can scan because all my "little" pictures are glued to a solid page from where i would have to rip them off in order to get to them :)
Love this picture of Leah with a sunflare.
Love the way you can see his little hair on Noah's arms.
Chubbs :) Love Leah's chubby legs and rolls.
Soo handsome...i just want to num him :)
Noah playing with plastelina :)
OH AH :)

Bubbles and warm summer nights...
Ever since Noah was little he just loves bubbles! When we were in Disney-world earlier this year, we bought his this bubble gun and every time we pull it out, he will play with it for a long time. Our last favorite thing to do is to go outside before Noah's bedtime (which is now around 10:30pm)and swing on our swings, watching the airplanes take off or fireflies (Noah is always excited about seeing the fire flies or as he calles them in Polish "swietliki") I even tried to photograph the fireflies one time after we caught some into a jar but it was extremely hard and after a while i gave up :) Maybe next year. I love these nights outside with Noah. They are the best and as special as my little man is to me. I always wish that the time would stop as we swing and laugh together. Anyways, here are some pictures of Noah playing with his bubble machine right before his bedtime. He is one, master bubble maker :)

My little Picasso!
One afternoon with nothing else to do, we decided to try painting again. We pulled out Noah's painting easel and all the paint and the little man was off for painting. Unfortunately the project lasted no more than 15 minutes and we had to go to a next activity of the day. Uff...it's hard to keep up with an energetic toddler, especially one that drinks a veggie juice almost every day :) I told him that if he drinks the veggie juice, he will become as strong as a lion. One evening we were playing with his Imaginext people and Noah was trying to fire a bullet off his dragon warrior, however it's a task that requires a lot of strength so Noah looked at me and said "mommy let's go and drink our juice so i can become stronger" (mommy chodz pic sok, Noah chce byc silny jak tygrys"-he said this in Polish). It was just too hilarious but off we were to a kitchen, drinking our powerful juice :)
And here is a picture of our princess Leah (over 5 months old):
Happy as a clam :)

Whitewaters with Thalia!
Today we went to Whitewater Park with my good friend Eva and her adorable daughter Thalia. Although I was little a resistant at first about taking two kids to a water-park, with Eva's assurance, I jumped right into it :) Noah and Thalia just had a blast! Little Leah had a problem with falling asleep but overall it was a good experience and we ought to do it again, especially that Noah and Thalia are good playmates and they enjoy each other's company (even holding hands while sliding...how cute is this?). Anyways, we had a wonderful time this morning and looking forward to more playdates with Eva and Thalia :)
Here are just a few pictures i took of the kids sliding (with my crappy phone camera but better have crappy pictures than no pictures at all!)
Awwww....

Mid summer Update
I can't believe it's been a year since me and Noah went to Poland last year. Time really flies and i wish we could all go to Poland this year, however the tickets are insanely expensive and we would have to get two now. The good news is that babcia Ewa is moving to the US and we will see her very shortly! She has a ticket for August 8th and is flying to Chicago. I am so excited she is moving and will be closer to us. If i ever need a babysitter she will be there for us at anytime :) There is nothing better than a Polish grandma! I am also hoping that Natalie will be joining us at some point. I would love to have my sister here with me so we could become closer and share our lives together. It's hard to be close when she is a world away from me.
As far as the kids go, they are doing great! Leah is 5 months and a half now and she is the sweetest little baby around. Noah is also getting bigger and taller and he will be turning 3 this coming October (can you believe this?). During the week we stay mostly at home, occasionally running some errands here and there but Leah takes her nap until 12pm so it's hard to leave the house in the morning. We usually go somewhere in the afternoon and most of the time it is WMCA. Our weekends are spent on the boat. We usually just anchor off and swim in the lake or just go to a water park. Noah loves the beach and the water park and we love our boat (especially that it has a shower and air conditioning unit :) We usually just stay on the boat overnight, have breakfast at Crackel Barrel in the morning and just stay in a water all day. Ok- here are some pictures I took recently of my two sweethearts. They are my entire life...and more.
Our girl jumping :)
Here is Noah juicing. We are all over making a vegetable juices lately. What can be better for you that a juice made of carrots, kale, beets and celery? Yummy!
Noah told me that he wanted to cook something so i just told him to make the juice :)
Noah drinking his juice...I am soo proud of you!
Sweet pupka :)
Almost gone :) I told him that if he drinks the juice, he will be as strong as a tiger (actually THE tiger from his recent favorite movie we saw together in the movie theater "The Kung Fu Panda") By the way, I love it too :) We now watch it every day :)
Miss Leah eating on her toy...:)
This is one of the hugs he showers Leah with...ALL the time! Yes- she doesn't have a choice :)
One of Noah's mischievous smiles when he does something he is not supposed to.
Leah's chubby legs...too cute.
Soo precious!
I adore every single, little fold on her body!
Noah today, showing me a dead frog...just being a boy!
I love his facial expression :)
