So the summer is here! It's been really hot in Atlanta for the last month or so. There wasn't even one rainy day that i recall recently. Every day we have a clear blue sky and amazing sunshine. There is nothing else for us to do but to spend time in the water. We just go to the neighborhood pool, turn on a backyard sprinkler or just slide from our clubhouse into a tiger kiddie pool. Yes we spend a lot of time playing in a water...LOL but we all love water so that's ok with us!
Noah at our neighborhood pool. He does great in the water and is not afraid of it at all. He just wears his swimming wings and is comfortable in the water.

Memorial Day weekend.
This weekend was very busy. On Friday i had my wisdom teeth removed (all 4 of them) plus an implant operation. Long story short i was on painkillers almost all weekend but i did managed to go on our boat just next day after the surgery and stayed until Monday night (since it was a Memorial Day weekend). Two nights on the boat :) However we had a really great time (we even took doggies with us and they had a blast). The kids did great. They slept well and had an awesome time swimming and chillaxing on the boat.
I have to say that Leah is just the sweetest little baby. She almost never cries, sleeps through the night (which she started just recently when she turned 4 months)and just watches her bigger brother in amazement. She is just wonderful. Quiet and content. I couldn't ask for a better baby! I am so lucky! Here are a few photos i took during the Memorial Day weekend.

Guests!
Sometimes back in May, right after mother's day, we had some guests from Tennessee: Sarah and her lovely daughter Kate. I haven't blogged for a while and I am just starting to update all the recent happenings. It's hard to get organized with two kids :) Today i got up at 5:20am and decided to play with some pictures and update my blog (and i intend to do so from now on :) So here are just a few pictures from Sarah's visit (we took photos of each other's with kids and then edited them ourselves. Too bad i accidentally deleted all the pictures Sarah took of us...man it was early in the morning :)

Boat time!
One of the first weekends on the boat this year. We have upgraded our boat to Sundancer 280 in January and we intend to spend every weekend enjoying it! So last weekend we invited our friends Ania, Jason and Iza to spend a day with us on the lake. We had a terrific time! Noah just loves Iza to death and he feels very comfortable playing with her. The kids just played in the water (although the lake was still very chilly)run around and then we all went and got a dinner at Sunset Cove. What a fun day!

Strawberries...
For mother's day, I decided to do something special with Noah so we joined Ania and Iza for strawberry picking! (Noah is in love with Iza, who is 4 years old and he claims that she is his best friend...her and Sara both). Iza and Noah make a good combo since their energy level is similar so they almost always end up having a good time together, just running around or jumping on couches for example :) Anyways, strawberries was such a great idea! I don't remember last time i ate so many strawberries :)It was pure fun and both kids LOVED it. It was hot but we still managed to stay there for several hours, eating strawberries, chatting and just having blast with the kids! After all, we stopped by a huge field of flowers and just let the kids be KIDS. They held hands, run around, picked flowers and got to be really wild :) Oh Noah was so sweet. He kept bringing me flowers saying "happy day mommy" sooo adorable. These are the moments I live for :) Thank you Noah to be such an amazing son. I am beyond blessed to have such wonderful children!

Happy Mother's Day!
I am not a perfect home-making, cookie-baking mother.
I don't like cooking and i certainly don't like cleaning.
I'm not the type of mom who plans the kids activities and stays on schedule.
I've never done too well at mothers meetings or play-dates.
Elegant clothes and high hills make me nervous.
I am, however, a mom who plays chasey through the house and catches butterflies in the garden.
One who lets her kids jump on beds and roll in mud.
And then, when they are all cleaned up, lets them do it all over again.
A mom who lies in bed with children every night to read stories and hear their hopes.
A mom who still gets up in the middle of the night to make sure all is okay.
A mom who encourages free thinking and wild dreaming and self-believing.
A grateful, hopeful, flawed mom with endless supply of silly laughs, dances and smothering cuddles.
One who loves you more than anything else in this world.
Happy Mother's Day.
Agnes

14 weeks old Leah
We had a very nice weekend. On Sunday, me and Leah went to a yoga class together and Noah and daddy stayed on a boat for a day. It was a very restful day for me (since Leah is super easy now...how lucky am I?) so we just chilled outside, took some pictures and just ended up having a great day together. Leah is so sweet :) She just wakes up, eats, sits on a swing for a while and goes back to sleep :) She is such a happy little girl, who smiles every time she sees me :) I love her to death... She is just pure sweetness! We all should learn from kids how to just stay in a moment and simply be happy:) I am on a quest! Here are some photos from the session:
