I have been postponing this assignment for quite a while now and i finally decided to do it. We had amazing, sunny weather all day long today so me and Noah decided to meet our friends (Anna and baby Thalia) at the zoo this afternoon. We had a wonderful time with them even though Noah was not his usual fun-loving self today because he didn't take long enough nap. Anyways, when we were driving home it started to rain so as soon as we parked the car, I dragged Noah outside for a mini session with rain :) Here are the results, which i really LIKE! What a great memory to have :)
Just LOVE the mood on this one!

Pragnancy news!
So today I found out that I am pregnant with our second child :)It is only 10 days after the initial conception but I just "knew" right away that I was going to get pregnant :)I took the pregnancy test yesterday (6 days before my actual period) and it came out negative. I ignored it because somehow I felt pregnant so i retook the test in the morning and sure enough it was positive :)) Woman's intuition never fails...I am soo happy and so ready to go through this amazing pregnancy journey one more time (and probably the last time). I am completely blessed to be given this opportunity again and cannot wait to meet this tiny, new person that me and Paul created :)If the miracle of life is not enough proof of the existence of God I don't know what is. I just know that tonight i will go to bed more peaceful and happy because only God could created such a perfect gift. The baby's due date is February 6, 2011 (there will be 27 months difference between Noah and his brother or sister). Noah will be 2 years and 3 months old. I think it's the perfect age difference and I hope that the two of them can grow up closely together. I always wanted for Noah to have a close in age sibling, something i didn't have when i was growing up (there is an 8 years age difference between me and my sister). All in all, I couldn't be happier tonight!

Early summer days...
I took these shots for my new assignment with Detra. Like the way they turned out, especially the catchlights on couple of pictures. On a different note, we had a wonderful weekend together ( that is me and Noah because daddy is on a business trip in London). We went to White Waters, a water park in Marietta and we had a blast! We explored the entire park, swam in a lazy river, ate ice-scream and pretzels! Unfortunately i didn't take my camera to the park (for safety reasons)so I don't have any pictures from our wet escapade :) All i want to say is that we are going to have lot's of fun this summer. We have several season passes to choose from including: the Zoo, children's museum, aquarium and now the water-park. We have also joined the YMCA gym today so our schedule will be rather tight this summer. We will be out and about daily! I am really excited and ready for all kinds of activities!!!

Noah and his puppet kitten :)
As many of you know, Noah is an avid animal lover! The other day we went to the children's museum (Imagine It)again and Noah fell in love with a stuffed cat they had there. He carried him everywhere and didn't want to part ways with him at the museum. It was soo sweet. After i got home i couldn't help but ordered him this cute puppet cat i found on the internet :)He is a ragdoll cat from Folkmanis Puppets :)Unfortunately the cat is not as popular as the one in the museum and Noah doesn't quite love on him as passionately as on the other cat...so go figure! Sometimes i really can't get what kids really want :)
Jamming with daddy...
Last week Paul pulled out his acoustic guitar and invited Noah to join him in the living room for a jamming session :) This was hilarious to watch because Noah was totally into it! He didn't pay attention to anything else around him. He only had eyes for daddy and his guitar. I had to run and get my camera so i could documented my little rocker!
What can i say Noah is natural...just like his daddy :)

Another class assignment...
We had another class assignment last week and the subject was to capture the sky. Oh how i love the sky and it's beautiful blue color. Anyways, just wanted to share before and after shot of Noah on the swing. The before is kind of underexposed but the edit makes all the difference. I LOVE Photoshop and Lightroom!!! It's kind of like a therapy for me now. When I feel bad i open Photoshop, edit some pictures and everything seems to be ok again :)

Second edit (not sure which one i like more :)

Rain Rain go away...
We had a rather wet season here in GA this spring so i bought Noah a new raincoat and a pair of cute boots to match it. We decided to go outside one day after it rained so Noah could test his new boots. We give it a thumbs up! Here are just a few shots from our wet endeavor!
