Christmas 2009!

Marry Christmas!! Oh what a wonderful Christmas we had this year! I couldn't wish for more :) Besides Noah and Paul, my mom and sister were with us again AND that's enough to make me the happiest person on the planet. Oh how i LOVE the Christmas season! I honestly think that Noah was really enjoying all that this incredible holiday has to offer. He loved the decorations, the Christmas tree, the roasted marshmallows, sitting by the fire and Wigilia. He loved it all! The day before Wigilia (Christmas Eve) as our tradition requires, me, mama and Natalie gathered in the kitchen and made Polish Pierogi while listening to Christmas carols (It only took us 5 hours to finish but it was TOTALLY worth it :) After that we baked a traditional Christmas cake (makowiec) and prepared other Polish goodies :) It was an unforgettable time together. We spent Wigilia with our Polish friends Jason and Ania who prepared a wonderful Polish supper and next day we went to Pell City and spent a day with Paul's family. Noah had so much fun throughout this Christmas time that I can't even imagine how much more fun he will have in the years to come. It only gets better. I cannot wait to see it!

Stone Mountain Village

This past weekend (almost a week before Christmas) we took a trip to the Stone Mountain Village to look at their amazing lights. It was cold as one can imagine it will be but we still had a wonderful time together. We walked around the village sipping a hot chocolate, saw a 4D Polar Express movie with Noah (who by the way was totally amazed by it and kept his 3D glasses on the whole time :)and took a train around the mountain singing Christmas carols :) It was a blast! I wish Christmas time never ended :)

I have been seriously neglecting my blog since Natalie came in to visit us :) It's just that during the day we are usually on the go and in the evening we sit by the table, eat and talk until midnight :) Days go by soo fast that way and i can't imagine it's almost Near Year. Soon Natalie will have to leave us :( Anyways, here are couple pictures of Noah.

San Francisco!

We had just came back from a fabulous trip to San Francisco! Oh what a change of scenery from a boring Mableton :) Even though the weather was unpredictable from day to day, we had an awesome time! I LOVE San Francisco...the landscape, the people, the restaurants and the super friendly attitude towards pooches! I am not stretching the truth but doggies are allowed in restaurants, beaches and even stores! Now that's the way it should be! Here are some pictures from our trip:

I just want to share some pictures of Noah i have taken at night. They are not perfect by any means (I need a new camera!!!) but I am loving my low light lens. Noah just took a bubble bath and was getting ready for his bedtime :)

I have been neglecting my blog lately (because babcia Ewa and Natalia are here) but this doesn't mean that i haven't been taking pictures :) Maybe not as much as i used to because we are always busy doing something but I snap some here and there. I need to really be better about it because this is a special time for us together and I want to make it as memorable as possible. I love all God's creatures, especially when they are fuzzy and sweet as these two :) Just not sure if i can persuade my husband to keep them... When Paul saw this picture he asked: "Is that a picture for the ad you are going to place for the cats?". Doesn't look promising :(
