Our last weekend was great! On Friday, me and Noah went to Radah's birthday party where Noah celebrated along with five girlfriends. He loves these girls but more than the girls he loved their playroom full of Little People :) At one point i had to just go upstairs and check on him because he was so quiet (two hours passed by and he still didn't come out of the room). He was just in Little People's land :) Arya and Gargi have every single little people toy that he ever dreamed of so this is what Noah has been doing while all the girls where downstairs. He eventually joined them for a play but it was just too hilarious to see him so involved in playing by himself for such a long time:) On Saturday, me and Devyani went to a Sathsang while Paul stayed with kids and then on Sunday we went on a boat where me met our good friends Bo and Kay with their girls. They used to live in our neighborhood but they recently moved out to be closer to better schools. Anyways, it was great to see them again. After Bo and Kay left, we drove our boat to the water-park and let Noah play in the water. He had a blast! Here are just a few pictures from yesterday: Little chubbs :) Chubbs eating her foot :) Here is a comparison picture between Noah and Leah (although Noah was about 8 months old at the time)I think they look just alike :)
This morning I decided to make a frozen lemonade for me and Noah. I never made one and I am surprised how great it tastes. I couldn't decide whether i like the strawberry or the regular...Hmm :) It was yummy and it goes well with mason jars. We sat in Noah's playhouse outside and sipped our lemonades while playing with Little People (Noah's faves for now). Oh what a wonderful and sunny morning! And one more, I'm getting a new camera bag!! Vintage teal one-I am soo excited :) Life can't get better than this.
Yesterday, my little girl looked so pretty that i decided to do yet another session while Noah was entertaining himself in his playroom and didn't even realize that I was outside with Leah :)I bought this newborn hat for Leah in a special boutique while back and it hasn't fit her until now. She just looks so cute in it that I simply couldn't resist her beauty :)She is just awesome! She is awake even now as I am writing this and just talks to herself and giggles in her crib. Noah used to do the same. He would sleep all night and after he woke up in the morning, he would just play in his crib for quite a while, turning on his aquarium or simply just looking at his Winnie The Pooh friends.
I love the mornings before everybody is up. It gives me a chance to connect to my true nature and just sit still for a while. My guru says that life happens from within and how aware we are of it, decides the quality of our body, our mind, and our experience of life. This is so true. I see it happening in my own life. Anyways, here are the pictures of my angel, who I love with all my heart. You are such a ray of sunshine in my life, please don't ever let your light to fade away.
Happy 4th of July! We had a great 4th of July weekend. On Saturday morning Paul took Noah and Leah to a neighborhood parade as i was getting everything ready for our long weekend on a boat. As soon as the parade was over we were off driving to Buford (yes doggies were included as well). Unfortunately I forgot to charge my camera for the weekend so we ended up only with two pictures taken by my I-phone, just before it went dead. Lucky me :( Anyways, the weekend was hot and full of actives. We discovered a special dock by the Lake Lanier Water park so we decided to purchase the summer passes for the whole family. Noah loves to go to a Waterpark so this way he can enjoy it all summer long, every weekend. This place is great for kids. They have a live entertainment at Sunset Cove Beach and lots of wet rides, slides and attractions for little kids. Noah even tried a reverse bungee jump for the first time and wasn't scared of it one bit :) Yesterday was also Miss Leah's first time on the beach (lake beach that is) and she was quite mesmerized by all the people around. For the most part, Leah was nursing and sleeping on the boat while me and Noah roamed the water-park :) All things considered the kids had a blast on the boat. By the end of our third day Noah was so tired, he couldn't even keep his eyes open in the car on our way back home (while i was kissing on him and taking advantage of his sleepiness :) My sweethearts on the boat and ready for the ride.
My sweet, little munchkin is already 5 months old! She is getting more beautiful each day and each day i fall in love with her even more. Here are a few pictures of my little princess: Here is a collage flashback from May:
I have just now edited some of the pictures that our dear friend Sarah took of us way back in May. I love them all and can't wait to make prints out of them. Thanks Sarah for taking these! What a wonderful memory to have. I just never have any pictures of me with the kids because it is always me holding the camera but I am going to learn how to make the camera take pictures of us together so that I'm in the pictures with my kiddos. I love how calm we both look considering Noah was having a throw down 6 inches from my face! LOL Just love this one :) And this is my old time favorite!
We finally got some rain :) Yeah! I love rain and the feel of fresh nature right after the rain (especially here in Atlanta where rain is so warm and the after the rain, climate feels tropical). As usual when it rains we go outside and admire the nature. We had so much fun taking these pictures and even more fun playing in the rain :) My CHAMP! Noah terrorizing the doggies :) My favorite Myrtle Tree Sweet Josh Oh these chubby feet... :) Magnolia bloom :)
