Happy Mother's Day...to me!

Last week Noah brought the nicest mother's day gift i could have gotten: a card with a beautiful poem and his handprints on the card :) I cried when i read it and wanted to share it with you. It is very special and I will always carry the message in my heart.

Love Prints

Sometimes I'm not careful
Because I am so small
And leave my sticky handprints
On furniture and walls

But someday I'll be grown up
Maybe far away from you
My handprints will be covered
With paint so clean and new

So I made a special handprint
Just for you to see
And on the wall you'll always have
A little part of me!

Thank you my little pumpkin! Love you to death!

Flying the kite!

Just want to share couple pictures from last week that i didn't have a chance to post earlier. It was very windy one day so we went to Nickojack park to fly a kite. Unfortunately when we got there the wind subsided and the conditions to fly a kite were rather poor :)But we tried and tried and tried...and ended up having a great time nonetheless. I also had a good opportunity to take some shots of a sun flare for my next photography assignment (they turned out ok but not exactly what i wanted :)

Noah the Painter!

This was the very first time Noah had a chance to paint. He painted all over everything, including himself. He looked so natural with the brush in his hand :) My little painter! We have to buy him an easel soon so he can practice more painting outdoor. That will be fun. I have to constantly come up with different activities for us to do, otherwise we would get really bored :) Anyways, couple shots from Noah's first painting session.

Saturday Fun!

Yesterday we had a very busy but awesome day. And staying busy is what i like the most! We got up, had a breakfast together and then we went to Chattahoochee river with dogs. Doggies had a chance to run around freely and Noah was perfectly content playing in a water and throwing sand and rocks into the river. After Chattahoochee, Noah took a little nap and as soon as he got up we were off to an indoor swimming pool. He loved this new experience so much so that we had a hard time going home. I have to start taking him there during the week so we can have more fun in the water. After the pool we went home for just a quick second and then off to Mellow Mushrooms for some pizza!! The day was full of laughter and joy, just the way i like it!

Nebulizer

It seems to me that as soon as i stopped breastfeeding (which was when Noah was 13 months), he started to have all kinds of problems including ear infections and colds. Most recently I had to take Noah to the doctor because he has been coughing for a while and also had a runny nose for quite sometime. We didn't know either his ears were bothering him again or he caught just another virus. Anyways, the doctor heard some wheezing sound in his chest that was probably caused by some viral infection. So what's the diagnosis? We don't know. The doctor said that is can be either a bronchitis, asthma or sinuses infection. Noah was prescribed two antibiotics and we were given a nebulizer to take home that would ease his coughing. I was very puzzled but the doctor said that there is nothing to worry about and most kids as they grow up won't need nebulizers anymore. Anyways, Noah can't stand the machine and he wants nothing do do with the cute fishy mask that comes with it. Every time i need to put the mask on Noah (which should be 4-6 hours) we need to either put on his favorite show (Fuzzy and blue and healthy too) or we can forget about nebulizer. Well, I'm taking Noah for a checkup tomorrow so hopefully we won't have to continue to struggle with a mask anymore :)

Shower King!

As many of you know, Noah loves to take baths and showers. Lately he prefers to take showers as often as possible, either with daddy or with mommy :) He can be playing outside and when we say a magic word "shower" he is ready to go and stops whatever he is doing at the moment. This is hilarious. After the shower he likes to be wrapped in mommy's towel like a big boy and he loves to parade around the house like a little king. He sure is mommy's king!

Adorable! No matter how many photos of Noah i take, it's never enough. To me, he looks different on each photo and I desperately want to capture these special moments forever!
