Park time!
We had a great day today at Marietta Park. We have never been in this park before so Noah loved it that much more. He run around an got soaked in a nearby stream. The weather was perfect today and by the time we left the park he was basically dry. I did take my camera today so I could capture some memories for us. Noah even picked some flowers just for me and told me "Here you go mommy this is a present for you". He has been especially sweet to me lately. The other day, he looked at my (very ordinary) shirt and said " I like it mommy…it's perfect on you" :) Melt. These are the moments and words i live for. He also tells me he loves me about 50 times every day. We sleep together and i just love to snuggle up with him at night (it doesn't bother him at all that turn into a leach every night :) He is just so sweet. Ah and i almost forgot, the other day we were driving to a store and he said to me: "Mommy you look like a Barbie". That was the BEST complement ever :)
Well he does tell me that i look like a witch every so often (especially when i wake up and have my hair down) but this doesn't register to me and i just remember the Barbie remark :)
Anyways, we had a great day today and we are planning another escapade tomorrow. We don't know where but will sure have a good time and Noah will have plenty opportunity to run around and burn some of his energy. he has been complaining lately that he doesn't have anybody to play with. He loves to have playing companion like Tony, his friend. Noah and Tony have become quite friends in the last few months. We try to schedule a play ate for the boys approximately once a week and when we get together the playmate lasts all day long :) The boys run around and play all day and me and Magda can catch up and eat all day :) Leah is never a problem. She just walks around, plays with toys and watches the dog. It's a win-win situation and everybody is happy :)
Anyways, here are the photos from today:

Noah splashing in a water.

Busy Bee...

Ultimate Princess :) Oh how i love her!

Hold me please...

You are soo precious!Love how the sun lights up your hair from behind.

Definite "Future Hunk".

Love the feathered hair :)

Easter shot :) Check out my chubby legs! On this picture Leah looks just like my sister Natalie when she was her age :)

My little "Ancymonek" :) That's how babcia calls Noah sometimes when he is up to something, which happens ALL the time :)

I couldn't get a better shot of Leah b/c she was NOT happy to be that far away from mommy :)

Noah running back and forth. This boy ran like 20 times from us to that blooming tree in the background. Great idea to get him tired :)

Love this one of Noah :)

In the meantime, babcia and Leah were hugging and kissing nearby.

And more kisses...In the meantime, Noah keeps running!

Getting jealous of Leah getting all babcia's attention so he takes a break for a little hug.

Love Noah's eyelashes :)

Dandelions...

Spring is in the Air!
What I really love about the South is that the Spring season starts in February :) This year it started really in January :) My fruit trees are in full bloom and some of them are already dropping their petals. My peach tree still have most of it's beautiful petals on so i had to take some pictures of the kids. By the way, we have been doing great, just been very busy lately with painting the house, doing spring cleaning and enjoying the company of babcia :) We are so blessed she is with us and i can't even imagine her coming back to Chicago. But because i'm trying to live in the moment, I'm not going to think about it just yet :) She is still with us now and it's all that matters.
Kids have been doing great. Leah is just the sweetest, little girl but sometimes she can get very stubborn and show her little, hot temperament (watching her big brother do so all the time probably doesn't help either :) Long story short, Leah is not going to be a push over. She is strong and lets people now very quickly what she likes and dislikes. For example if she doesn't want something to eat, she will just NOT eat it no matter how much i can encourage her to do so. Now this is different than Noah because he always ate and drank whatever i gave him. Leah is different. Babcia Ewa is jouncing vegetables and fruits daily for us and Leah will just not drink the juice. Noah is finishing his portion before everybody else but Leah doesn't want to have anything to do with the juice. I really hope that she will be more open to it as she gets older. Noah is a real champ when it comes to eating healthy and drinking vegetable juices. One time, we went shopping to Whole Foods and we bought the usual beat/kale/carrot/spinach juice for Noah and this lady was following me through the store not believing that Noah was drinking it :) YES Noah is something ELSE.
On a different note, Noah still goes to Mother's Morning out twice a week and he has not gotten sick since he started. He is still on Juice Plus, which i believe is the reason he is not getting every bug out there. Leah is healthy as well. I am still breastfeeding but will be giving that up very soon. She is also a healthy girl. Leah can also say a few words now. Besides mama and tata, she can say Josh, lala (doll) and she can also say the whole sentence in Polish "Co to jest...to jest" (which means "what is this? This is..") When she says it, i can't help but smile at her because it is soo darn cute.
Oh and i have to mention our new addition to our family: a sweet bunny LOLA. I don't know if it's a he or a she because the bunny is still a baby but she is soo cute. The only thing is that we must work out some of the logistics when it comes to our dogs but other than this Lola has been successful at making herself comfortable in our household. She is completely litter trained with the pee pee...but we are still working on the number 2 :) Anyways here are our photos from today:

Valentines Take Nr 2
Couple more pictures for the Valentine's Session. A different one. These were taken at my fellow photographer's studio: Linda. I met Linda on a website forum for photographers and we met several times. We both shoot Nikon D700 so there were things we wanted to discuss :) We met at her studio and took some pictures of Leah, babcia and even me :) (Noah unfortunately was in MMO at that time so we couldn't take him with us). Nevertheless, babcia went with us and we explored Linda's studio and played with each other lenses. She has the 85mm 1.4 lens that i want and she wanted to check the 135mm that i have. The 85mm is on my list and so is the 105mm macro lens i desperately want. Anyways, we had a great time together and i also got some ideas for my own studio lights at home. I don't really have a place for a real studio but I am leaning towards the garage. We shall see what happens. I do need some new studio equipment and a real studio for the winter times when it's cooler outside. Personally i love the natural light, however there are times when i prefer to see the simpler and cleaner images of my kids and that's why i need studio. It would be nice to have a space where i could shoot the kids at all times! Just dreaming BIG. Maybe one day.

My sweet Leah. I love her soo much.

Me and Leah. Can't decide whether i like the color or black and white :)

Leah and babcia Ewa.
