Sunshine!

I got up this morning, breastfed baby Leah and snuggled up with her as i usually do (before Noah is up) and as I was changing her, I noticed just how wonderful and sunny she looked this morning. A true God's miracle. Everything about her was radiant and happy and she just transferred some of this wonderful energy on me. I immediately grabbed my camera and snapped couple pictures of my sunshine, although the pictures cannot portray of just how beautiful and glowing she really is. I think that we all need to learn something from our kids and just be HAPPY and Joyfull out of our own human nature...the way the Creator designed us to be. Thank you pumpkin for reminding me about this simple but a significant Truth :)

Summer days...

I am adoring watching the interaction between Noah and Leah. As Leah gets older she is just mesmerized by her very hyper older brother. Leah constantly has her eye on Noah, watching and studying his every move. And she thinks Noah is hilarious! Leah has to simply look at Noah in a funny way and it sends her into a big, old smile. I can jump around making a fool of myself trying to get a chuckle and nothing happens but Noah can make her laugh by just jumping and making faces. LOL!

This is a photo shoot i did about month ago with Noah and Iza but i just now had a chance to edit the pictures. It was a beautiful afternoon and we have been just coming back from a strawberry picking when i saw this pretty field of flowers and decided to stop by a take a few spontaneous pictures. The kids were running around and had a blast in spite of the summer heat. I just love watching Noah having a good time with friends. He is really into other kids now and I am thinking of admitting him to a "real" preschool this fall, so that he can learn and play with kids couple times a week. Mother's Morning out is great but i don't know if he is getting much out of it. Time will show but I am definitely not ready for anything more than just couple days a week and just for few hours (I can't get separated from my sugar plum for more than couple hours :) Anyways, here are some of the pictures from our session:

Leah is 18 weeks old...plus "E.T" time

Here are some pictures of Ms. Leah with one of our doggies Josh. It was a beautiful later afternoon so me and Leah just went outside to sit on the swing where I noticed how cute she looked in this golden light. It wasn't long after I grabbed my camera and started taking pictures to catch this special moment. I love the pictures with Josh and the one with Lilly in the background. Our doggies are very much part of our family so i wanted to include them somehow so Leah could have memories of them. At the same time Noah was at home with daddy watching one of his shows :) He gets very serious and is wholeheartedly involved when watching TV now. One of his favorite shows are now "Dinosaur Train" and "World Girls". He also loves to watch all the Micky Mouses movies, old or new it doesn't matter. He is obsessed about Micky and Minni. I can't even recall how many time we have watched "Micky Mouse Twice Upon a Christmas"for the past 5 months...probably 100 :) There is still a Christmas spirit in Callahan's house. LOL

Anyways, couple days ago me and the kids went to Wallmart to get some groceries and I also decided to pick up a movie for Noah for our movie night. I gave Noah couple choices along with the animated version of the "Charlotte's Web" but he chose "E.T" instead. I was little hesitant but he insisted so i gave up and we went home with "E.T". As the evening came, we all sat in front of our big screen to watch watch our first real movie together. I have never seen Noah being so involved in any movie as he was in this one. I thought it would be too mature for him but NO he loved it all the way until the very end. He really got involved in the story plot. Yes this boy loves drama. Where there is drama, there is Noah :)

Fun weekend!

We had such a great time this past weekend. Full of activities and fun! On Friday, me and Noah set up a big pool against our outdoor slide for some backyard adventure :) We both kept sliding down and splashing all morning! We had a great time while miss Leah was taking her long morning nap.

On Saturday me and Noah went to a Water-park and we stayed there until 7pm! My little munchkin had such a blast :) We went to a little kiddos area full of fountains and slides, we did the lazy river at least 5 times and then the wave pool :) Noah was amazed the park and it was so much fun to watch his little eyes twinkle with happiness. I cannot wait for our next trip to White Waters. Yesterday we got up early in the morning, ate breakfast and got ready for the boat, where we spent the entire Sunday just swimming and relaxing. It was such a great and HOT weekend and perfect to stay in the water :)

Leah's 4month check up

I can't believe that my newborn princess is already 4 months old. Oh where did the time go? At four months of age Leah can laugh out loud, grab her toys, turn from her back to her stomach and she already has one tooth :) That's a big accomplishment for such a little person. Did i mention that she is also the cutest and most loving little thing EVER? There is so much sweetness about her that i just want to eat her up. No kidding. I am just so happy to have her in my life that i can't even express myself. She is just constant joy to be around and a sunshine that just brightens all my days. Thank you Leah for being you!

Dr. B was just amazed how big Leah has gotten since her last visit. She said that Leah is very healthy and looks like A 4 months old going on 8. Yes she is a big baby :) Here are her stats:
Weight: 16 lbs 7 ounces (7 and a half kilos) That puts her in 95% for the weight.
Height: 26 and a half inches long (60 and a half cm) That puts her off the charts for the height :) She will be a tall girl!
Head Cir: 41cm.
Comparing to Leah, Noah at 4 months weighted: 15 pounds and 7 ounces so one less pound than Leah.




And here is my little Noah update:

Playing with his shark honoce plain (as he calls it) :) This is Noah's new, favorite toy. He takes it everywhere even to his bed. He is obsessed by it. He also have an aircraft carrier that goes with it, along with couple other plains that he loves to play with. I have never seen Noah playing so much with anything. Definitely good investment:)

My babes at 4 months. I think they look very much alike, although Leah's eyelashes are not as long as Noah's :( I wish i had such an amazing eyelashes myself.

These are also pictures from back in May. I just love my little girl wearing the flowery headband that i made from fresh flowers. I just love all this girly stuff :)I can't wait to see my little girl wearing all the princess dresses. She is going to be an ultimate princess and we will have princes parties every day!!! I love having a little girl.
