Noah is in Mother's Morning Out now so i can at least try to update my blog fast, while Leah is taking her nap. I drag the fact that I really don't have much time for myself anymore. I'm enjoying both kids every single day but part of me would like to just sit down sometimes all alone and lose myself in the wonderful world of pictures. I miss having time for taking pictures and creating our wonderful memories but then I realize that taking nonstop care of my kiddos will pass and then i will be missing the time with them so for now i just try to cease the moment and enjoy the wonderful moments we have together.
We had a great Easter. Babcia Ewa has left right before the Holy week but we tried to stick to our Polish traditions nonetheless. Me and Noah painted the eggs together and on Saturday we went to church to bless our Easter basket. After the church me and Noah went to one of our neighbors for an egg hunt. On Easter Sunday we visited Paul's parents in Alabama and had a great time seeing everybody together again. Noah had a blast riding Kawasaki and running around the yard chasing butterflies. Here are a few pictures from our Easter time this year:

Everybody together (minus me of course :)

11 weeks old Leah
Here is my girl at 11 weeks of age! My little butter ball! She grows like crazy and is soo yummy! Her cheeks are huge! LOL. For some reason people say she has my cheeks...hmm not sure if it's a complement or not :)They used to say the same about Noah's cheeks :)
Anyways, here are the latest pictures of my princess:

My sweethearts!
We had a session with Leah last week in our backyard and I am quite happy with the results :) My little girl is so cute! She is 11 weeks now. I love taking pictures of Noah but with a girl it's a whole new world and so many outfits to choose from. I love all the pink (pink was always my favorite color) and pastels and all the beautiful hand-bands i can choose from :)Leah is a very sweet girl. She is very chilled and looks laid back (i cannot say the same about Noah :) Of course I adore Noah's rambunctiousness but he can get out of control sometimes :)I wonder what Leah will be like...she is still so little so it's hard to predict ones character at this point. Nevertheless, here are the pictures of my sweethearts from last week:

Ice-cream and heart crushing love...
One of the biggest splurges in our family lately has been ice-cream! We love to eat ice-cream and we are especially addicted to the bluebell brand (homemade vanilla is just the best!)I try not to serve it more than couple times a week but when we do it's a special treat and we enjoy it to the fullest! Ice-cream is one of the simplest pleasures in life one can have... this and a homemade cheesecake :) When i cuddled with Noah in bed last night, stroking his cheek when he was just about to drift off to sleep,
I thought about how he has recently changed. I can't believe how long and lean my little boy is. Where has the time gone? I feel overwhelming love for him and then I also feel sadness for the times when I have said, “In just a minute, Noah,” when he asks me to run in a yard with him or play with blocks. I feel guilt for not being the mommy I desperately want to be to him? It is also fear for the changes that will come as he grows older, fear for losing the incredibly special bond we have now...And fear that I’ll look back on these days and wish with all my heart that I could have been more to him and that I cherished every moment more fully and been more present with him...I love you baby soo much!
Eating bluebell ice-cream...(or should i say finishing what mommy left?) our favorite!
Post ice-cream sugar rush :)
And Leah sucking her thumb :)

10 weeks old Leah
The time goes by so fast and my newborn girl is already 10 weeks old. She smiles often and is fascinated with the faces (especially mommy's face:). She loves watching Noah play and jump in front of her and she loves the furry creatures around her (Lilly and Josh). She is still sleeping a lot during the day but is very alert when awake. Soon she will be trying to sit and then crawl and then....oh well I'm trying to enjoy this phase without jumping too much into the future but sometimes i just can't help myself and notice the time flying by so fast...way too fast. All this while trying to stay in
the moment and enjoy the ride :)

Soo cute...
Not so cute :) This is pretty much every couple days ordeal :)
