38 and a half weeks pregnant!
We had a great time this past weekend (it was our last weekend before Leah is here). It was a weekend full of activities and anticipation for the arrival of Leah. We went to couple of restaurants, ate good food, took Noah to a Kangazoom and generally enjoyed our time together. On Sunday we visited a Children's Museum and then we had some friends over in the evening. Oh what a relaxing and fun weekend that was! However, I am very surprised that Leah hasn't come yet. From everything Dr. Sun was saying, she should have been here by now :) Well, she will be here in just couple of days. I'm officially 38 weeks and a half pregnant and I am scheduled for induction tomorrow (Wednesday, January 26). Although i want to hold my girl in my arms as soon as possible, I am also anxious about the whole upcoming experience. I hope my delivery is fast and Leah is as healthy as a baby can be. So please keep me in your prayers this week. In the Meantime, we will try to have as much fun as we possibly can with Noah. For the past week or so Noah is very much into drawing and painting. It all started with babcia Ewa showing him how to draw couple things and Noah was hooked right away. Then we went to Imagine It- museum, where Noah tried painting and now all he wants to do at home is either drawing or painting. I'm glad we discovered something that Noah enjoys doing. I feel that the painting is more than just simple activity. I believe it's a way to express his emotion, explore color and use his imagination. I adore doing crafts with Noah! I'm attaching just a few pictures from Noah's last night painting session. He was just too consumed with painting to do anything else in the evening :) My little Picasso! By the way, tonight is my last night at home before my induction so I'm thinking to co-sleep with my Sweetheart :) Just me and Noah holding each other tightly all night! I'm such a drama queen, but i can't help myself :)

Noah and his buddies...
Just want to share a few shots from today--Noah walking his doggies: Lilly and Josh :) Lilly and Josh are almost 8 years old now but have plenty of energy left for Noah, who is constantly on their case :) These three are super buddies and I'm really happy that Noah has the opportunity to grow up with dogs. I never had an animal while growing up and I think I missed out on a lot of things by not having a living creature to take care of. As long as Noah continues to show an affection towards animals, he will always have an animal companion to grow up with and share his childhood.

Leah's room.
At this point, we are anxiously anticipating the arrival of our little baby girl Leah. I'm officially 37 weeks pregnant and happy to reach the full term of my pregnancy, in spite of earlier threats of having a placenta previa condition :) I feel very lucky and blessed to have a fairly easy pregnancy and I am now hoping and praying for easy labor and healthy delivery. I cannot imagine that my pregnancy is almost over (where did the 9 months go??) but I am ready to begin a new chapter in my life, one that includes the four of us. Every night before i fall asleep I thank God for all we have, especially for the wonderful and healthy son He gave us and I'm praying for my little baby girl to be the same. I truly cannot wait to hold her little, tiny body in my arms and for Noah to meet his little sister. Nothing I've ever done has given me more joy and reward than being a good mother to Noah. I know this feeling will be multiplied when Leah joins our home. I am ready to meet our little princess :) Here are just a few shots of Leah's room:
Picture babcia Ewa cross-stitched a while back. It took her weeks and weeks of work to accomplish the task but it makes it so much more special this way...

More snow...
This is the second time this year that we have gotten some major snow in Atlanta :) What's more, we have been home bound since Saturday! Yeah, we all are getting cabin fever by now:) Our first snow day was a big fun, in spite of the fact that the ground was covered completely in ice. Nevertheless I was determined to go outside and try some sledding (using the top of my laundry basket since we don't really have a real sled). I have to buy it somehow for next year :) Anyways, me and Noah ended up having a good time outside but by last night I was ready for the snow and the ice to be gone :)We are seriously ready to go out again but the roads near by are still frozen and the temperatures are too low for the snow to melt so we are stuck in the house probably for the next day or two :) At this point, even Noah doesn't want to go outside and try playing in the ice :) But here are a few pics from yesterday's snow day before the ice really settled in. It really was such a fun morning :)
