Fun on the boat and preparation for Poland!

We had so much fun this weekend. Yesterday we were visited by Paul's parents (Noah had a great time showing off all his toys and dancing skills in front of nana and papa) and today we spent the entire day on our boat. It was a fantastic day, although the temperature today reached 105F. It was incredibly hot but we didn't feel the heat as much on the lake. We cruised around for a little bit (just to put Noah down for his nap-unsuccessfully)but mostly we were just chilling in the water with doggies on one of the private beaches around eating fresh figs and drinking gatorade! Unfortunately i didn't bring my camera with us so we don't have any pictures from today but I'm attaching couple of pics of Noah i took just a few days ago, drinking his fresh carrot juice (I make a fresh carrot juice for Noah as often as i can find some cheaper organic carrots). Anyways, tomorrow me and Noah are leaving for our first trip together to Poland. We are flying through Prague to Krakow and will be staying in Poland for a month!! I am very excited, however I am also scared of how Noah will do on the plane for so many hours. The entire trip takes around 15 hours (with our 4 hour layover in Prague). Noah has never flown for so many hours before. We took him to Miami, New York and St. Thomas with us but the flights were 3 hours at most. Well, I took bunch of toys for him on the plane including crayola desk, DVD player, cell phones, etc. We are also flying through the night so i hope he can take a nice nap as well :) He does have his own seat so this shouldn't be so bad but knowing how active Noah is just scares the heck out of me :) Well we will see tomorrow. As for now, bon voyage!!!!

It's a boy!

I finally started to feel better in terms of the nausea that i have experienced for the last 2 months. Nausea is gone but my appetite is not :) I swear, I can eat all day long and still be hungry! Soon i will be wider than longer :) Anyways, at 10 weeks I took a home gender predictor test (intelli-gender) that is supposed to be 80% accurate when it comes to gender prediction and my thesis have been confirmed--we are having another boy!!! :) Noah is going to have a little brother Nathan :) We are very excited and can't wait to welcome our new angel to our family. I know that as a boy, Noah would probably want to have a little brother over a sister so we are really happy he will have such an experience. Noah and Nathan will be 2 years and 3 months apart from each other and we are hoping they will become best buddies and friends for life. Last week I also had my second ultrasound with Dr.Sun and so far everything looks wonderful. I have a new picture of Nathan and he now looks more and more like a real person. Next week I'm having the other kind of ultrasound done (that really good one) with Perinatal Consultants so we will get some awesome pictures of Nathan. I can't wait! I will be able to take them with me to Poland next week and share it with all family. I am so excited about our up-coming trip. This will be Noah's first experience in Poland and we will be staying there for the whole month of August :)

Happy 4th of July!!

This weekend we had a wonderful 4th of July celebration! It all started on Saturday with our 1st annual 4th of July parade in our neighborhood organized by our wonderful neighbors Katie and Steven. What an awesome idea! This year we came totally unprepared for the parade but we will know next year. After the parade the kids had popsicles and watermelon and then our family headed to the boat for more 4th of July fun. The lake was really busy this past weekend and the water was really rough so it was hard to find a private beach. Instead we met up with Kaiser's family and just hang out on their rental house boat. It was great! We ate dinner with everyone on a boat and then swam in the lake until the sunset. Beautiful!!! Then we decided to launch our boat back to our marina to watch a wonderful fireworks show from our boat. Noah was amazed by the fireworks. He enjoyed every minute of the long firework show. Unfortunately we were unable to stay on a boat overnight because Paul had to travel to London next day so we decided to head back home after the show, which was close to 11pm!!! By the time we got back home it was 12am. This was the first time Noah stayed up this late but it was all worth it. He was amazing and just slept in late next day. On Sunday, me and Noah went over to Ania and Jason's house for some more fun. Jason made a fire and we were all watching the fireworks while eating smores with Hershey's chocolate (roasted marshmallows with a chocolate over crackers). It was delicious! Noah and a great time with Iza and Emma and he stayed up again until 11pm. This morning he slept until 11:40am!! He really is a late sleeper. I can't believe he can sleep so late :)) Anyways, today we spend almost all day long in a water-park with Jason, Ania and the kids. It was great to have a company all weekend long! Overall, we had a wonderful 4th of July celebration. I only wish i took more pictures but the only time i had my camera with me was during our neighborhood parade.

Lazy Summer Days

We have not been doing anything much this summer, just lots of visits to the pool and playing outdoors (mostly in the evenings because it's too hot during the day). These pictures of naked Noah have been taken when I attempted the potty training for the first time. Noah was basically running naked all day long and i placed him on his potty every 30 minutes or so. Needless to say, it was more than i can handle just yet :) He was really good with successfully using the potty when we first started the potty camp but then stopped caring once he got bored with his reward (stickers). We will definitely resume using the potty once i feel little better and have more patience for cleaning the accidents :) Anyways, i totally believe that he is ready and just needs a little push from me.

Pregnancy week 9th!

I can't believe I'm only in a week 9th! 7 months to go--this seems like a LONG time to me. Even though I'm only in a 9th week, I'm already showing (this is crazy :) I'm not sure whether I'm showing because I keep putting on a weight from non-stop eating or I'm showing because of my pregnancy. I like to think the later :) It's been really tough for me for the last couple of weeks. I still feel pretty nauseated all day long and on the top of that I feel hungry ALL the time. I'm eating a lot of sweets and chocolates these days. I never knew that a mega Milky Way bar can taste soo good ( It's the first thing on my mind when i wake up every day :) That's sad but i can't help myself. I have never eaten so many unhealthy foods in my life! It is my goal to start eating more healthy again. I really wish i was already in my second trimester and feeling good again. In the meantime, here are some pictures of Noah i took sometime ago. Noah is obsessed with brushing his teeth recently. He can literally brush it for 20 minutes :) I hope this habit won't change anytime soon.
