Noah's first Egg Hunt

Last weekend we attended Noah's first egg hunt in our neighborhood. One of the neighbors organizes it every year for the entire Vinings Vintage so there were a lot of happy kids around. Noah had so much fun seeing all the kids hunting for eggs and playing together. He himself did a pretty good job hunting. It only took Paul one time to show Noah what to do with eggs and Noah was a real champ! The hunter's instinct kicked in and he was off to hunt for lot's of eggs :) Like he was saying "daddy you sit down and relax and I will show you how it's done" We were so proud of our little hunter :)

Meet Fred and Dorothy

I am excited to announce that we have a recent addition to our family: Fred and Dorothy :) Fred is a betta fish and Dorothy is a beautiful golden fish. I have always dreamed of having aquarium and maybe my dream will come true one of these days when we may get a bigger aquarium tank. For now we just have one fish bowl for Fred and a small desk aquarium for Dorothy. Once Dorothy will get bigger she will need a bigger aquarium so Fred will take her current spot :) Fred needs to be in a separate bowl because of his feisty nature but hopefully Dorothy will have some company very soon :)For now we are happy to have those two. They are so cute and Noah already loves them to death!

A Trip to the Zoo!!!

It was so gorgeous today that we decided to visit the Atlanta Zoo and since we have seasonal passes we will be doing this very often this summer :) It was such a great idea. Little Noah was so happy seeing all the animals and I was so happy seeing Noah smile. I swear this boy has no fear of animals whatsoever. In the patting Zoo he would come so close to the goats that it made me shiver couple times. There was NO WAY of separating him from the animals. People made comments that we should have a goat at home because Noah was so excited about them. I wouldn't mind at all (actually I really like goat's milk) just not sure about Paul :) Anyway, we had a lot of fun today and I am really looking forward to spending summer with Noah. We will have a blast!

Spring is in the air!

I'm glad to announce that Spring has finally come to Georgia. Yeah!! It was just gorgeous for the last couple days with temperatures around 70 degrees so obviously we spent the last two days literally outside :) Noah was happy to explore his new sandbox and the whole yard for this matter. Oh how I love the sunshine! When it's hot i always complain that it's just over the top hot but I will take the hot weather in no time over the cold. Anyways, Noah is growing like a weed and is surprising me every day with his new found vocabulary. He is just soo cute while trying to speak Polish (he knows couple words in English as well :) He can already say: mommy, tatty, cioci, babi, pies, kaka, Josh, knows the sound of a cat, doggie, piggy and sometimes a cow :) He makes these cute ballet movements while watching one of his favorite songs "The music box" (and he does it so gracefully that I just can't stop playing it for him :). My little ballet dancer!

Creative Workshop assignment 3

So I am taking this awesome online class and haven't had a chance to really play with the assignments as much as i would like to. It always seems like i either don't have enough time or don't have a right subject to photograph. Anyways, here is my last assignment midday back-lighting with reflector. I had to use me for the first assignment because Noah doesn't have enough hair for it :) Then of course i used Noah :) Anyway, not really sure of the end results. It is really hard to shoot in a midday sun :)

Noah adorable smiles!

Nothing in the whole world makes me happier than seeing my boy smile. I could be in a pretty bad mood but when Noah surprises me with one of his many charming smiles, my heart just melts right away and everything is good again :) When Noah smiles nothing else matters at that moment and everything seems to be possible. It is when Noah smiles or snuggles with me that i realize why I was placed on this Earth for. It was for him. Just keep on smiling my little pumpkin. I love you so very much.

Georgia Aquarium

This past weekend, which was the last weekend before babcia's departure, we decided to visit GA Aquarium. This was Noah's first trip to the aquarium and even though we thought he is still too young to go, he ended up loving it! We have never seen Mr. Noah so excited about anything :) One look into Noah's happy eyes and I realized what a great idea it was to take him to the aquarium (even though there were masses of people inside). We definitely need to do it more often now since we have the annual passes. After a wonderful trip to the aquarium we had a great sushi dinner at Harry and Sons in Virginia Highlands. Me and babcia love sushi more than any other food in the whole world! I could eat it every day and i swear it would never get old for me :) I hope Noah can appreciate it one day as well :)Anyways we had a wonderful weekend together and Noah was at his absolutely best behavior :)Here are some pictures from our trip to the aquarium.
